Join Zero Proof for a hike at Umstead State Park. We will be meeting up in the parking lot for shelter 1 and 2 that are together off the Umstead Glenwood Ave. entrance (as seen on the attached map "Parking for Potts Branch and Sycamore trails). You'll see from the map attached that you turn into the entrance and keep following straight on the main road (you'll drive past the main visitor center and parking for that, plus another smaller parking lot) and end up at the last parking lot area where we will be meeting.

If you use Google Maps, plug in "Parking for Potts Branch and Sycamore trails" and you should be directed there just fine!

I'd like to start the hike promptly at 10:00am if possible, so please arrive 10-15 mins early. If you have any issues finding us, please call Jacqueline at 336-354-3090. We'll most likely hike around for about an hour, but it's totally up to the group! If the consensus is to keep going or to turn around because we are freezing haha, we will see what happens but count on about an hour. Also, in Umstead dogs are welcome if they're on leash. Feel free to bring your dog as long as they are people-friendly and get along with other dogs in case there are more.
